Christmas Time

We had a wonderful Christmas at the Foster house in Portland! By popular demand, we each opened all but one present on Christmas Eve. We didn't get to dinner until about 8 pm, but it was worth the wait! Aj and my mom did a great job on the turkey - delish! Too much wine did my Dad in; he fell asleep on the couch. Doc and Copper weren't doing ANY begging AT ALL...

...You won't find any pictures of me because Santa brought me a huge red zit for Christmas! Actually, I got a lot of nice things! I'm especially looking forward to the weekend getaway to Bonneville Hot Springs Spa where I have a hottub, relaxing aromatic wrap and massage waiting for me! Thanks AJ! He got a fishing pole, some Bush literature and a nice wool coat to keep him warm. There may have been a little bit of regifting going on, but who's counting? It snowed hard for about 2 hours on Christmas Day, and they said "no White Christmas", ha!

Christmas Party

There were some interesting gifts being given and received at the White Elephant gift exchange during our office Christmas party. Sam got a sweet clown cookie jar with only a few chips in it. I thought I was going to score some nice Grinch boxers for AJ, but they were stolen from me. Luckily I snatched the PIMP challis (sp?), which now sits proudly in the resident work room!

Bedroom furniture

Our bedroom furniture finally all arrived yesterday! I really dig the new leather headboard. I think even Aaron is impressed...
Now all that's left to do is change the yellow-colored walls!

Christmas

Well, it's December already and time to get into the Christmas spirit. It even snowed in Portland for about an hour on Saturday morning! AJ and I headed up to Mt. Hood yesterday and went Christmas tree shopping. We passed up the tree farms and got a permit to cut our own! I was pretty excited until I saw how slim the pickin's were. Never-the-less, we found a nice tree, albeit slightly Charlie Brownish. And yes, we have continued the huntin'/fishin'/ropin' decorative theme.
