Presents

Doc was getting bored, so we decided to open a few presents on Christmas Eve.

AJ also was begging to open presents, but only because he thought he might get a plane. Here he is checking the online overhead radar report...

I got a lovely necklace from my sister, Lindsey!

Aj loved his "flying ace aviator" sign and hung it in his man-room.

Shannon had to open a second present and put it on since it is a festive holiday red!

Christmas morning we were back at it. For Sheryl an Lindsey; can you spot the 4 presents Shannon is wearing in this picture?

Doc went a little nuts with the wrapping paper.

I love the sweaters and necklaces, hopefully I can put together some cool combos.

This my favorite combo so far, but I have yet to try on everything...thanks mom and lindsey!

A little Christmas Elf led me to believe that I was going to receive one of these little numbers for Christmas this year, I can't say I'm disappointed...

Christmas Eve

We decided to bust out the snow-shoes for one last hurrah here in the metro portland area as the warmer air has moved in and started the great melt-down. Doc had a pretty good time.

Soooo Jealous...

I am insanely jealous that my Mom got a new puppy for her birthday/Christmas present! She is so cute! I asked AJ for a puppy for Christmas, but unfortunately, we don't have a fenced yard and we both work long hours, so it's a no-go.

She is a golden-doodle with Dad being a golden retriever and Mom an apricot standard poodle.
My mom and new puppy. I can't wait to meet her, but due to bad weather, it will have to wait until after Christmas...

More Snow got me thinking... Is this really Portland?

One must be careful what they wish for, as the snow did indeed keep coming... As you can see, Doc is still enjoying it!

Snow Storm

We got quite a bit of snow yesterday in Portland! Almost a foot of snow with a 1/2 inch layer of ice on top. This afternoon our power went out and I was pretty sure I was going to freeze to death. Thank goodness it is back on now! Sounds like there's more weather on the way tonight and tomorrow, some more freezing rain/snow just starting now.

We are pretty classy with our bud light cans out on the grill!

Once the Christmas presents showed up from Boise, our tree started to look much more festive. Yes, the decorations include shot-gun shells and rope.

I bought a little pre-Christmas necklace for myself. Hair is working it's way back to blonde!

Snow

There was snow on the ground when we woke up Sunday morning! I was sad because my scheduled massage got cancelled due to weather!

Thanksgiving

My hubby was gone hunting over thanksgiving, so I got some lovin' from little Copper! Too bad I was at death's door and couldn't take him running in the foothills...I don't know if he'll ever forgive me!
